Floral Beauty

Cold wax and oil paint were the materials used for this painting. The canvas was primed and modeling paste was used to add texture and interest. I have used a beautiful crocheted doily, that sits on my table, to paint for the base of the vase, which sets it off nicely against the top of the table. The abstract wall behind the still life also adds to the interest of this painting.
